This is because yogis devised their asanas partly by observing how animal instincts work in the wild.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;These two arts and disciplines were intimately united in the ancient past. Today, this direct link of yoga and the arts of dance appear to be lost. Nevertheless, dance continue to be potentially highly spiritual arts, even if in the actual existing practice there is almost no evidence of that yogic link. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Dance is par excellence; it is a devotional activity that purifies, as does yoga. Every mantra contains within its vibration a certain power. Upon concentration and repetition of a given mantra, its energy is liberated and takes form. &lt;strong&gt;The Universal Sound “OM”&lt;/strong&gt; is shared by many religions including , Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains. In Hinduism, Om is the most sacred of sounds with meaning and frequency that have energy of their own. The monosyllable came to represent the ultimate One, which is eternally unchanging immutable” or “imperishable. In the Bhagavad-Gîtâ (10.25), Krishna says: “Of utterances I am the single syllable.”&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At least 2000 years after the sacred syllable OM was discovered by the Vedic seers (rishis), there was an anonymous sage who composed the brief Mândûkya-Upanishad who utilized this ancient mantra to expound the metaphysics of Advaita Vedânta. Thus he explained the three constituent parts (mâtrâ) of the syllable—namely a + u + m—as symbolizing past, present, and future, as well as waking, dreaming, and deep sleep also earth, atmosphere and Heaven. He spoke of a fourth part that transcends the other three and concluded his esoteric observations with the statement that om is the Self (âtman), saying, “He who knows this enters the Self with the self—indeed, he who knows this!” &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;By chanting the Divine mantra OM with your heart open and devotion, and mind alert you´ll feel the vibration throughout your body and notice how it transforms your state of being. The vibration frequency of the mantra becomes the identity of one's consciousness. There is no difference between the two.
